Bruno Mars at Levi's Stadium: Parking, Transit and Bag Policy
Bruno Mars plays Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11, 2026, and both shows start at 7 PM. It is his first full headline tour in nearly a decade and his first run headlining stadiums. Parking at Levi's is priced per event and sold through Ticketmaster, while VTA light rail drops you at Great America Station on the stadium's north side for a $5 Excursion Pass.
Two nights means two different evenings. A Saturday show and a Sunday show at the same stadium do not call for the same plan, and most guides pretend they do. This one separates them.

Saturday or Sunday: two different traffic problems
A Saturday 7 PM show at Levi's shares the roads with weekend shopping traffic. Great America Parkway, Tasman Drive and the Montague Expressway all carry retail traffic on a Saturday afternoon, and the stadium crowd lands on top of it from about 4 PM. If you are driving on Saturday, arriving early is not optional.
Sunday is quieter on the way in and worse on the way out. VTA light rail runs less often on Sundays, Caltrain runs a reduced schedule, and 60,000 people are all trying to get home before a Monday morning. The trip home is the part of a Sunday concert that deserves the planning.
Either night, the show will run well past 10 PM. Whatever you are doing afterward, do it near the stadium or plan on a slow exit.
Parking: what Levi's actually publishes
Levi's does not post a flat parking price. Passes are sold per event through Ticketmaster, and the stadium's own guidance says that credit card parking on the day is limited and can cost more than a prepaid pass. Buy ahead or plan not to drive.
Every lot at Levi's uses directed parking. Attendants fill rows in order, so you park where you are sent rather than where you would like to be. Green Lot 1, with its entrance off Great America Parkway, is the general event lot the stadium names on its own pages. Accessible parking is prepaid the same way.
The cost that never appears on the pass is the exit. After a stadium concert the lots empty onto two or three roads, and the queue to leave is routinely the slowest part of the night. The stadium recommends transit for a reason, and for a 7 PM show it is the better option for most people.
Light rail is the strongest option for a 7 PM show
The VTA Orange Line stops at Great America Station on the stadium's north side. It is steps from the gates, not a walk across a parking lot.
The fares are simple. A single ride is $2.50, and an eight-hour light rail pass is $5, both from the ticket machines at any light rail station. If you are coming down the Peninsula, Caltrain sells a joint Caltrain and VTA day pass for $7.50 on top of a normal Caltrain day pass, valid through the last train of the night and on VTA until 3 AM. Buy it before you travel rather than at Mountain View Station, where VTA asks riders to buy the two fares separately.
From downtown San Jose, take the Blue Line north to Baypointe and change to the Orange Line toward Mountain View; Great America is two stops on. From Mountain View, the Orange Line runs straight to the stadium. After the show, VTA runs extra service with organised queues at Xfinity Gate A, and the queue moves faster than any parking lot.
Check Sunday frequencies before you commit to the late trip home. The schedule on vta.org is the one to trust, not a screenshot from a previous show.
Caltrain, Capitol Corridor and the East Bay
Caltrain does not stop at the stadium. Riders from the Peninsula and San Francisco ride to Mountain View and change to the Orange Line for the last leg. The transfer is easy in daylight; the late trip back is where people get caught, so look up the last northbound train before you leave the house, not on the platform at 10:45 PM.
Capitol Corridor's Santa Clara Great America station sits beside the stadium, and the stadium directs those riders to Toyota Gate F. Evening service is limited, so treat it as a way in from the East Bay rather than a way home unless the timetable says otherwise. ACE runs special trains for 49ers home games, not for concerts, so do not count on it here.
Rideshare: where the zones are
Rideshare drop-off is along the bus stop south of Great America Parkway, and pickup afterwards is in Red Lot 7. Accessible drop-off and pickup are both in Red Lot 7 as well, and the stadium runs a courtesy wheelchair service from there to Gate C before events.
Surge pricing after a sold-out show is severe and the pickup zone is a scrum. Walking ten minutes toward Tasman Drive or Rivermark before requesting a car is consistently cheaper and faster than waiting in the lot.
Getting in, and what the gate will stop
Tickets are mobile only. Nothing is emailed or printed, the barcode has to be visible on a phone, and everyone aged two and over needs one. Adding tickets and any parking pass to a phone wallet before you leave is the difference between a smooth gate and a scramble in the dark.
The stadium is cashless throughout, with cash-to-card machines at section C117 on the main concourse, section 130 by the guest services station and section 308 upstairs, capped at $500 a transaction. Parking is cashless too. There is no re-entry at any Levi’s event, so anything left in the car stays in the car.
The bag rule allows a clear bag up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches, a one gallon clear zip bag, a small clutch, or a seat cushion. Note that the stadium’s own pages give the clutch as 4.5 by 6.5 inches on the bag policy page and 4.5 by 5 inches in the A to Z guide, so the smaller number is the safe one to pack. Sealed plastic water under 24 ounces is allowed, as is an empty transparent reusable bottle, and six refill stations sit by the drinking fountains at sections 101, 110, 120, 125, 127 and 322. Thermoses, cans, glass and coolers are not allowed.
Handheld signs are allowed at non-NFL events provided they do not block anyone’s view and carry nothing commercial or offensive. Banners, poles and dry-erase boards are out.
If you arrive with the wrong bag, the stadium’s own guide lists a paid bag check run by The Mobile Locker Co. at $20 per bag, by the RV lot on the west side and on Tasman Drive at Gate F. VTA’s event page states the opposite, that the stadium offers no bag check, so treat it as a fallback rather than a plan. Cameras with detachable lenses and camera bags are prohibited inside, which matters more at a concert than at a game.
Accessibility
Accessible parking is in Red Lot 1 and only in Red Lot 1. It is paid like any other space, either with a prepaid pass for any lot or by paying at the Red Lot 1 entrance, and a current disabled person placard or plate has to be displayed. It is first come, and when it fills, drivers with a placard and a pass are sent to a mobility-friendly lot with a courtesy shuttle. Arriving through the Green Lot 1 entrance instead means being turned around, so set the navigation to Red Lot 1.
Wheelchair assistance waits at every entry gate, with benches just past security and a posted number to call. To leave, call mobility services on 408-579-4610 and stay where you are until someone reaches you, because they cannot find a moving target. Expect a wait right after the last song, since it is first come and not reservable. The stadium does not lend or rent wheelchairs, so anyone who needs one for the whole night has to bring it.
The Sutter Health sensory room in the South Atrium is a quiet space away from the noise. Closed captioning runs through a browser on your own phone using the event ID for the stadium. Sign language interpreters are arranged through the box office and the stadium asks for a month of notice, which has already passed for these two nights. Service animals are welcome, including on the courtesy buses and shuttle carts, with relief areas near Gates A, B and C. If you arrive by light rail and need help covering the last stretch, mobility services runs a courtesy wheelchair transport from the Great America station to the west gates on the same number.
Getting out
VTA runs extra buses and trains for up to an hour after the event and has confirmed special service for both nights. Head straight for your boarding point rather than waiting for the crowd to thin, because the extra service stops when that hour is up. VTA ambassadors work the Mountain View Caltrain and Milpitas BART connections on event nights.
The stadium sorts exits by destination, and following that signage saves a lap of the building. Gate A is for light rail riders heading to Caltrain or BART and for rideshare and Red Lot 1. Gate B serves Red Lot 1, Gate C the Blue Lots, and Gate F light rail, Capitol Corridor, ACE and Yellow Lot 1. Parking lots close two hours after the event ends. If your car will not start, the stadium has free roadside help on 408-579-4600 until an hour after the event.
Cyclists get bike valet from three hours before until an hour after, though for non-NFL events only the corral at Gate C is open.
What stays home
Levi's Stadium is a smoke-free facility under Santa Clara city ordinance. That includes cigarettes, vapes, electronic cigarettes and joints, and the stadium states plainly that smoking marijuana is prohibited on stadium grounds. California law separately prohibits cannabis use in public. There is no version of the evening where anything comes with you to the show.
So the cannabis part of the plan happens at home, before you leave or after you are back. That is the whole premise of the next section.
Timing your delivery around a 7 PM show
Purple Lotus delivers to Santa Clara on same-day windows of 1 to 2 hours, chosen at checkout, from 9 AM to 10 PM every day. The last same-day orders go in at 9 PM. A 7 PM stadium show ends after 10 PM, so an order placed after the show is a next-day order. The useful window is the afternoon before you leave.
| Your plan | Order by | What arrives when |
|---|---|---|
| Delivery to a Santa Clara address before the show | Early afternoon | A window that closes before you leave, with room for traffic |
| Delivery in San Jose before the show | Afternoon, ideally before 5 PM | Lotus NOW reaches most of San Jose in as little as 45 minutes; most orders arrive in 45 to 90 minutes |
| Something for after the show | The same afternoon | Delivery is closed by the time you are home; order it with the pre-show delivery |
| Pickup on the way | Any time before 10 PM | Both stores are open 8 AM to 10 PM: 752 Commercial Street and 66 West Santa Clara Street, downtown |
The Santa Clara delivery page covers zones and ZIP codes. Orders carry a $50 minimum and a $3.99 flat fee, and first-time delivery customers get 30% off with code NEW30; offers do not stack.
If you are coming from the Peninsula or the East Bay, the pickup option is the one to remember. The downtown store on West Santa Clara Street is a short detour from the 87 and the 280, and the Commercial Street store is close to the 880 and the 101.
Where to eat before the show
There is little within walking distance of the stadium itself. Rivermark Plaza, about a mile north on Montague Expressway, has sit-down and quick options and is close enough to park once and walk over if you are early. The restaurants along Great America Parkway near the hotels fill up fast on a show night. Downtown Santa Clara along Franklin Street is ten minutes by car and rarely crowded.
For afterward, San Pedro Square in downtown San Jose stays open late and is on the way home for most of the South Bay. On Saturday, Santana Row is fifteen minutes south and busy until late. On Sunday, most kitchens near the stadium close before the show ends, so eat first.
If this is your first Levi's concert
The stadium opens well before show time. Getting in is slower than a football game because more people arrive at once, closer to the start. Aim to be through the gate at least 45 minutes before 7 PM.
The seating bowl is open to the sky. Santa Clara in mid October is warm at 4 PM and cool by 10 PM, so bring a layer you can carry in a clear bag or wear. Cashless payment applies throughout the stadium.
Our 49ers home opener guide covers the same stadium on a game day, and the Weeknd at Levi's guide is the closest comparison for a stadium concert exit.
