As a relatively new strain that emerged in 2018, the seeds are reportedly difficult to source.

Symbiotic Genetics bred the original Mimosa as a crossbreed between Clementine and Purple Punch. Both of its parents are quite popular in the Californian cannabis scene, mainly for their extraordinary taste. The strain is a sativa dominant strain and has a high THC content of about 20-22%.

Mimosa is one of the most terpene-rich strains on the market, containing high percentages of limonene and beta-caryophyllene, that give it a distinctively citrusy smell.
