Connoisseur Classic Papers + Tips [1 1/4]

RAW Cones are often out of stock and very hard to come by. Here’s the issue – RAW cones use a water-based gum that takes a long time to dry. That means RAW cones are rolled, then they have to sit for 24 hours before they can be stacked and packed. It makes for very slow production. Other brands use pure Ethyl Vinyl Acetate (Chemical glue). Their glue dries almost instantly so they can produce their cones much faster and cheaper. RAW is all about the natural. We’d rather produce a small amount of a great product than produce huge quantities of a bad product. That’s the RAWlife.

RAW Organic is made from organically grown* chlorine free pure hemp and is processed in an eco-friendly manner. The result is a very thin light tan paper that burns extra slow and extra clean. It uses the same proprietary crisscross run-preventing watermark as RAW Classic but the color is much lighter and varies depending on the shade of the hemp used in production. The taste of RAW Organic is unlike anything you have experienced. It is a clean tasting smoke that is best described as natural, light and pure. Finally, we can all smoke an ORGANIC rolling paper made from pure hemp!

Classic Cones 1 1/4 [6pk]

RAW Tips are made on an antique Fourdrinier paper machine. Whereas RAW papers are made in Alcoy Spain, we only have machines to produce thin paper in Alcoy. For the thick tipping paper we had to travel to an old paper mill in Northern China that was still using an original Fourdrinier. This was the only place we could find that still had one of these old machines in use, which we needed to make the special long-fiber paper for RAW tips. Want to know more? Modern paper mills use small-structure cellulose to make paper. The original paper mills used fiber instead. For tipping paper to perform best, it needs to be made from fiber – not just boiled cellulose. Fiber-based tips roll smooth AND have enough structural rigidity to both keep its shape in your mouth AND to not dissolve. There are precious few of the original Fourdrinier paper machines in use because they’re antiques and expensive to operate. We were lucky to find this old mill, it’s the only one in the world that can produce RAW tips to our specifications.
