RAW Cones are often out of stock and very hard to come by. Here’s the issue – RAW cones use a water-based gum that takes a long time to dry. That means RAW cones are rolled, then they have to sit for 24 hours before they can be stacked and packed. It makes for very slow production. Other brands use pure Ethyl Vinyl Acetate (Chemical glue). Their glue dries almost instantly so they can produce their cones much faster and cheaper. RAW is all about the natural. We’d rather produce a small amount of a great product than produce huge quantities of a bad product. That’s the RAWlife.

RAW Natural Rolling Papers have developed a cult-like following. RAW are pure, less processed rolling papers unlike anything that you have ever seen or smoked. Because they contain a hybrid blend of unbleached (not chlorine whitened) fibers, the paper is a translucent natural light brown color. RAW is so thin that you can see through it. Each paper is watermarked with our patented CrissCross watermark. This special watermark helps prevent runs and maintains the smooth even-burning characteristics that we are famous for. RAW is available in many sizes and styles to suit the most discerning smoking connoisseur. Enjoy your favorite smoke in its purest RAW form.

RAW rollers are made on the island of Kudus in Indonesia. This is the place where clove cigarettes were first invented in the 1880’s. In Kudus there are still large cigarette factories that hand roll cigarettes. Some employ tens of thousands of people to hand roll cigarettes. In the 1930’s a factory was established to supply the local factories with hand rolling machines. This factory is the oldest existing rolling machine factory in the world. We formed a relationship with them in the 1990’s and now we are their biggest customer – thanks to you! Our factory knows how to make high quality rollers that last for tens of thousands of rolls. Sure we could probably save a ton of money by making our rollers in China like everyone else, but quality is more important than cost to both of us.

RAW Black is double pressed extra-fine for the thinnest, unbleached rolling paper ever made. This unique artisan paper is produced in Alcoy, Spain when the dry Valencian winds make humidity optimally low
